This busy obstetric and gynaecological centre with paediatric inpatient care for neonates and infants and outpatient care for under 5s is a 100-bed hospital which gives government-recognised midwifery training to young women from the Christian community. A Community Development Programme is being re-established in an area affected by floods several years ago.
