Long-term Service
Requirements for applying for long-term service with Interserve USA:
- A strong sense that God is directing you to serve cross-culturally
- A supportive home church
- Some Christian experience (for example: discipling others, teaching Sunday School, holding church office, leading a Bible study)
- A marketable skill
- Completed inquiry form (see below) and two-part application
- A secular CV (resume)
Short-term Service (On-Track)
Who Can Serve:
- College students and recent graduates
- Skilled professionals
- Finishers
- Team Programs (i.e. Camp Teams in Central Asia)
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a Christian
- Desire to serve God in a cross-cultural ministry
- 18 years through retirement
Term of Service:
- 1 month to 1 year
Expenses and Fees:
- Application, orientation, and placement fees will be required
- On Track workers pay their own way by raising support from family, friends and churches
